Sara Lazzarin is an accomplished architect with over a decade of experience at the forefront of contemporary architecture.

Born in Milan, she studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano and her aesthetic universe was shaped by a deep passion for Italian architecture, enriched by her international experiences.

She spent 7 formative years at two Pritzker Prize Winning Firms—Atelier Jean Nouvel and Shigeru Ban Architects—contributing to landmark projects such as the Île de Séguin Urban Plan and the Seine Musicale Concert Hall in Paris.

In 2017 she co-founded Deux et Demi. With a meticulous eye for detail and a rich international perspective, she rapidly positioned Deux et Demi as a key collaborator for major luxury brands. Under her leadership, the firm delivered prestigious projects for Givenchy, Balenciaga and the Van Cleef & Arpels Jewellery School in Paris.

Expanding her influence globally, she has led several large-scale developments in China, including the design of a 20,000 square-meter retail and cultural complex recently completed. Her most recent Parisian project—a striking eight-storey office for Richemont Group and retail building for fashion brand Alaïa in the iconic Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré—was realized in collaboration with esteemed architects Kazuyo Sejima, Ryue Nishizawa (SANAA) and Franklin Azzi.

In 2025 she launches her own practice, Sara Lazzarin Architecture, marking a new chapter in her career.

From the intimate to the monumental, her work is guided by a profound passion for places, their stories and their enduring value. Each project is conceived as a dialogue with its pre-existing context, shaping spaces of timeless elegance through the refined use of materials, colours and light, where the contemporary and the ancient, the new and the existing, are invited to coexist with grace.
